Moist, decorative, and delicious! A sure family favourite.
Preheat oven to 160°C. Grease and line a loaf tin (~20cm x 8cm x 8cm) with baking paper, allowing the edges to overhang.
Add the eggs and sugar to a large mixing bowl and whisk gently.
Add melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, salt, cinnamon and whisk again.
Sift the flour into the mixture and whisk until well combined.
Peel and thinly slice the apples. Add to the mixture and stir through using a spatula.
Gently pour the mixture into the loaf tin, spreading the contents evenly throughout the tin.
Bake for 45-60 minutes or until firm to touch.
Cool in the tin. Remove, slice, and serve with optional cream or ice cream.
