INGREDIENTS:
 227 g (1 pack) fresh Medjool dates
 300 g walnuts
 4 tbsp raw cacao powder
 1 tsp cinnamon powder
 pinch of Himalayan salt
 1 tsp vanilla essence
 1 tsp orange zest
 juice of 1/2 an orange
METHOD:

Soak the dates in hot water for 10 minutes then drain.

Place walnuts in a food processor with raw cacao, cinnamon powder, salt, and orange zest and blend until all the mix looks crumbly.

Add the dates, vanilla extract and orange juice then process again until the mix starts to come together.

Empty the contents from the processor into a mixing bowl and work the mix by hand to ensure the mix is well combined. Roll about a tablespoon of the mix into a ball between your hands and then place aside. Continue until all the mix has been rolled into balls.

Coat each ball with various toppings such as chia seeds, hemp seeds, desiccated coconut, raw cacao powder or sliced almonds.

Store in the fridge for up to 4 weeks (if they last that long).
